Get your classmates together and take on the Secondary School Challenge at this year’s Coastal 5km event.

It’s a great opportunity for schools to compete, support each other, and enjoy a fun day out on the course, proudly sponsored by Timpany Walton

What You Could Win

The Secondary School Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the school whose first five runners finish with the lowest combined placing in the 5km event.

There are three winning categories:

  • Female Secondary School Team

  • Male Secondary School Team

  • Co-ed Secondary School Team

Each of the top five runners in the winning teams will also receive a prize.

How to Create a Team

Creating a team is easy.

  1. Register for the event and select your event category.

  2. During registration, select Create a Team.

  3. Enter your team name and register as the Team Captain.

  4. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a team registration link via email.

  5. Share this link with your friends, colleagues, or teammates so they can join your team when signing up.

How to Join a Team

If someone has already created a team, joining is simple.

You can either:

  • Use the team registration link shared by the Team Captain, or

  • Search for the team name during registration and select it when prompted.
